A New York wedding in my favourite season of the year – Autumn (or fall) – will always bring a big smile to my face! At first I thought my client was having a New York themed wedding in Monmouth, South Wales, but it turned out that Jennifer was from Monmouth, New Jersey, which made me laugh, but also the slightly embarrassing admission, that shipping costs were going to be slightly more than £12!!
Jennifer was my dream client, happy to hand her theme over to me and not afraid to use wonderful Autumnal colours, the addition of some sparkly diamante embellishments, really brought the whole thing to life.
I was nervous and excited to hear her reaction, I don’t like sending pictures of finished pieces prior, because the real life finished items just don’t compare. Luckliy she felt exactly the same about the pieces as I did!
Jennifer and John’s wedding took place on the 11th October, 2014 on the Manhattan Elite Yacht which cruises around the Hudson River in New York. The pieces Jennifer ordered were, A Wedding Card Post Box, with the groom in a tuxedo and the bride in a beautiful halterneck ivory gown.
Jennifer ordered some gift tags to go onto a welcome gift bag she had prepared for her guests as they checked into the hotel prior to the wedding.

This remarkable theme compliments a wedding so very well. Everything is made from paper, nothing is computer generated. The table plans are produced on wood framed white canvases, and lines with satin ribbon, meaning they can be wall hung after the wedding, or indeed an utterly beautiful personalised keepsake to be kept for many many years.
Have been to New York twice, I have such a fondness for the place, I don;t think I would never tire of it, or making this wonderful theme.
